THE ARTIST & THE PROCESS

An established artist with a designer's eye.

I've completed hundreds of commissioned pieces for clients with very different ideas, stories and spaces. My background in interior design means I naturally think about proportion, composition, colour and how artwork will actually live within a room.

Every commission begins with your idea. From there, I develop the visual direction and create an original piece tailored specifically to you.

Digital doesn't mean impersonal.

Every commissioned piece is drawn by hand using an iPad, Apple Pencil and Procreate.

I do not use generative AI to create my artwork.

MEET ALISON

Artist, illustrator,
designer, mountain-town maker.

I'm an interior designer, artist and illustrator based in Hope, British Columbia.

I've spent years creating commissioned artwork for people who want something more personal than what they can find on a store shelf. Drawing and design have always been a huge part of my life, and my work is influenced by British Columbia's natural landscapes, vintage illustration, bold colour, storytelling and the wonderfully strange personalities of the people and places around me.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me somewhere in the mountains, fishing, sketching or making something.
